We are in the throws of our first TWW–that’s the two-week wait between ovulation and pregnancy test, for those not immersed in the online fertility community. It’s an odd time. J and I have been keeping ourselves really busy, but time still seems to have slowed to a crawl. We made a list of projects we have wanted to complete for months, and oddly enough, they’re getting done.  I don’t think I’ve been this productive around this house since I was “working” on my Master’s thesis.

We just got back from a camping trip–yet another way we tried to pass the TWW. This got me away from the computer, away from the fertility sites and lesbian baby blogs, but it didn’t speed up the two weeks any. It was, however, a fabulous time for J and I. We enjoyed relaxing by the river, hiking in the forest, and being away from our endless list of projects, but now we’re back, and we’ve still got another week on this TWW,  in other words, an eternity.
